What does PD mean on your prescription eyewear pages? I have had my prescription done at my opticians but i do not know what a PD is.

Thank you for rating this answer.   The 'PD' figure required by our system when you place an RX order is a mm measurement of the distance between both your pupils. Your 'PD' or Pupillary Distance is used by Oakley's RX department to tailor the prescription lens to the arch of your eye. Eyewear created with Oakley RX system is unlike anything you will have ever worn for prescriptive correction. If you have limited your visual range with ordinary eyewear, you will be unaccustomed to the added angles of corrected light that these individually tailored lenses will deliver.
